MS. BAKER AND MR. MARLOW
Baker, Marlow to marry Oct. 25
Amanda Wanda Faye Baker
and Eddie Dean Marlow, both
of Maysville, will be united in
marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday,
Oct. 25, at the American Le
gion Hall in Homer.
The wedding will be simul
taneous with the wedding of
the bride's son, Bradfred Arvel
Lee Baker, and Ashley Kath
leen Willis.
All family and friends are
invited.
The bride is the daughter
of the late Eulene and Willie
King, formerly of Homer and
is the granddaughter of the late
John and Lucy Morris and the
late John and Addie King.
She attended Commerce
High School and is a restor
ative aide at North Georgia
Health Care.
Mr. Marlow is the son of
Ruby Pruitt, Commerce, and
the late Verdell Marlow, for
merly of Winder. He is the
grandson of the late Garnett
and Zelda Metcalf.
He attended Jefferson High
School and is the owner of
Marlow's Painting Company.
Luther Campbell celebrates 79th Birthday
Luther Campbell was honored
with a birthday dinner at Katfish
Komer on Sunday afternoon.
There was 150 guests present
to help celebrate this day. Lu
ther will be 79 on Oct 14. All
his children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, great-great-
grandchildren, brothers, sisters
and a host of friends were there.
We wish him many more birth
days in the years to come. Re
member him when you pray.
Silver Shoals Baptist Church
will hold its annual hayride on
Oct. 18 beginning at 6 p.m. with
a hotdog supper. The hayride
will begin at dark.
The community was saddened
to hear of the death of Bonnie
Sue Baugh. Bonnie was a life
time member of our community.
She and Lamar drove the school
bus for the community for many
years. She was the Stanley lady
for years and did parties through
out the community. She will be
greatly missed by her family and
host of friends. Remember her
family, friends and the commu
nity when you pray.
