Staff contacted a few of the farmers in the area, who brought out goats, chickens, ducks, horses, rabbits, a donkey and a pony. The Farm Bureau table also had a pig, Wilbur. The club set up a ta ble with pictures of events and handed out BCHA horse buttons. The kids got to see a picture one of their own class mates, Megan Burrell, show ing her “Big Horse.” Banks County Horse As sociation President Sammy Reece and Treasurer Cindy Reed passed out buttons to all the kids, while Secretary Jessica Burrell took pictures of the kids having fun. Jerry Gordon, a Farm Bureau board member, brought his tractor and trailer and gave the kids a hay ride. The Banks County Horse As sociation will hold its last show of the year Saturday, November 8, at the Banks County Horse Arena.
