“We anticipate the town

A Christmas parade starts
at noon on Saturday.

holiday season. Shoppers
can enjoy the many arts and
crafts booths available along

for each day’s work and the
one in question is July 28,
for July 25 work. Ausburn
reported that July 28 was a
Monday and, on that par

been returned.
The deposit in question was
written up in her daily deposit
book. The deposit was not writ

of the employees in the tax

That deposit should have
been made the same day, on
July 28. During this time, the
tax office was preparing for
the move to the new Banks

The lighting of the
Christmas tree will also take
place at dark in front of the

celebrate the holiday season
with the entire community,”
Fulcher said. “This event is
planned so the community
can gather together for visit

friends, drinking hot choco

enjoying the lights, singing
carols, strolling from booth to
booth doing your Christmas
shopping. This is to be an
exciting holiday event filled
with community spirit for all
ages.”
Chamber leaders are seeking
volunteers to assist with the
parade. Contact the Chamber

In Loving Memory
Lisa Samples Carlyle
March 24,1965-November 16, 2001
We thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday
And the day before too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
All we have now are our memories
And your picture in a frame.
Your memories are our keepsakes
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in His keeping.
We have you in our hearts.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone.
A part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
With all our love,
Lindsey and Caden
Nan, Scarlett, Chan, and Family
