Meadows
receives
health care
certification
Meadows Surgical Arts has achieved
accreditation by theAccreditationAssociation
for Ambulatory Health Care.
Status as an accredited organization means
Meadows Surgical Arts has met nationally
recognized standards for the provision of
quality health care set by the association.
More than 5,000 ambulatory health care
organizations across the United States are
accredited by the group. Not all ambulatory
health care organizations seek accreditation;
not all that undergo the rigorous on-site sur
vey process are granted accreditation.
Dr. Lionel Meadows, medical director of
Meadows Surgical Arts strives “to achieve
excellent results with amazing customer ser
vice and patient care,” while recognizing that
clients aspire to complete wellness. “When
people see our certificate of accreditation
with AAAHC it conveys, that we as an orga
nization care enough about our patients to
strive for the highest level of care possible.”
Ambulatory health care organizations
seeking accreditation by the association
undergo an extensive self-assessment and
on-site survey by AAAHC expert surveyors
- physicians, nurses, and administrators who
are actively involved in ambulatory health
care. The survey is consultative and educa
tional, presenting best practices to help an
organization improve its care and services.
“Going through the process challenged us
to find better ways to serve our patients, and
is a constant reminder of our responsibility
to continuously improve the quality of care
we provide,” said Meadows.
Meadows Surgical Arts, founded in 2009,
provides cosmetic surgery and gynecologi
cal care.
