Top teachers, staff named for Banks County Schools
The Banks County School System has revealed the out
standing educators selected as the Teacher of the Year and
Classified Person of the Year at each school.
“These teachers and staff members have demonstrated
exceptional dedication, innovation, and passion for edu
cation, significantly impacting our students’ lives,” school
leaders state.
Those named are:
PRIMARY SCHOOL
•Teacher of the Year Heather Geipel
•Classified Staff Person of the Year Jenny Saville
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
•Teacher of the Year Sherry Angel
•Classified Staff Person of the Year. Jamie Helton
MIDDLE SCHOOL
•Teacher of the Year Stephanie Kinsey
•Classified Staff Person of the Year Amanda Massey
HIGH SCHOOL
•Teacher of the Year Mr. Kipp Jackson
•Classified Staff Person of the Year Brooke Gee
The Banks County System Teacher of the Year will be
announced at a special ceremony held at the Banks County
Board of Education later in the year.

County Board of Education
meeting.

Special Olympics program
last May,” public relations
director Angie Bowen
states. The board expressed
their pride in the athletes’
abilities and praised their
dedication to their sport.
The athletes were presented
with certificates of achieve
ment.”
