On Monday night, Marshal Murphy with other policeman, arrested Charles Jouett, Jeff Stevens and anothor colored man, with whoso namo we are not fur nished. Tho officers of tho New Jackson, which arrived yesterday, reports the river has Hooded all tho low lauds, but the stream has rapidly subsided. At Chattahoochee, the lauding aud buildings of tho Jackson ville, Penaacols and Mobile railroad were under water. These structures were erected on pilings, aud cannot well be in jured. During tho freshet the bout could uot pass under the bridge at Fort Gaines. This is ns high as tho railroad bridge at Eufaula. The wagon bridge at the latter place is five feet lower. None of tho bridges were injured materially. The one nt Fort Gaines had a wooden pier washed on the Alabama aide.
