On Friday this gentleman waa riding
in a buggy flllsd with dry hid**. Thair
rattling scared the home and he ran
away. Mr. MeKsy waa thrown from the
vehicle and reeeived internal injuries auoh
that ha died yesterday morning at his
residence near Catania, Herria county.
Hia age was 74 yearn. In 1839 he re
moved from Jonaa county, in tbia Stats,
tq Harris, and haa lived there ever eiac*.
He waa perhaps the oldeet raeident in
