Washington, May 22. — Hays and Sheets, 4 of Alabama, appeared before the Senate Committee on Military Affaire, under the joint resolution which passed th* House on Monday last, giving aid to tbo desti tute of Alabama. The incidents will be derived mainly from Ue newspapers, which will be gleaned for tide purpose with much care.
