concomitant murders is being trails
noted by the savages, as in most in
stances the war parties have been
discovered by trails to bo on foot.
It is feared that the Indians who
have been disarmed by the govern
ment arc quietly preparing for hn

been put out of the way by poison
within the short space of two months,
it appears from the statements made
by Alary Dolby, a servant on the Rey
nolds farm, that they have been (ju
rying on the business of baby fann
ing, anil that tbo infants have been
poisoned with laudanum in the most
deliberate and inhuman manner.
Kliza Sheehan, another domestic on
the farm corroborates the statement
of the Colby woman, and lias furnish
ed a bottle containing a portion of
the poison said to have been used in
the diabolical work. Both of the ar
rested parties deny the charge. They
are both about (10 years of age. The
developments of the ease will be
looked for with great interest.
