The funeral services of Mrs. Jno. A.
Joiles took place yesterday ufternoon, at
four o'clock, from the Yesidence of Gen.
Conning. Him. died Thursday night, at
eleven o’clock, from a severe and short at
tack of pneumonia. Her age was fifty
years. Mho was the wife of Col. Jno. A.
Jones, who 101 l upon the memorable field
of Gettysburg, yielding Iris patriotic life
a willing sacrifice to his country.
‘Mrs. Jones was well known throughout
the State, and was beloved by a large

and attractive, and stood the vicissitudes
of misfortune heroically, having been re

children, two being daughters, both living
