OF CONFETTI
Novel Entertainment That Will

WHAT THE GAME IS LIKE
Has Bean an Amusing Feature of All Fairs
and Carnivals In the South During
the Past Few Years.
The battle or the battles of Confetti
is to bs introduosd in Brunswiok dur
ing Fair weak. Mr, G. W. Husk, tbe
famous introduoer of this game io all
tbe southern fairs and carnivals of the
past few years, has arrived in Bruns
wick and is making arranements to
put tb* Confetti on sale next week.
In oldenftimee during carnivals ga
la waeks in the .European oountrics,
it was ouatouary for btlles and beaus
to pelt one another with oandy thrown
from house windows and on tbe
street*. Bags of this toothsome deli -
oaoy were carried about and from them
handful* oast to passers by. The cost
of this sport beoame too great and tbe
modern belle* and beaus in late years
hnv# used tbe dainty oolored bits of
paper in tbair stead. They have
served the purpose admirably and
many a staid and sober oltizan or
beautiful sooiety girls has been[atar
