the Georgia Divisions of Confederate
Veterans, with their Carolina eom
raties, will have partaken of Augusta's
hospitality and returned to their re
apaotive homes, high in their praises
of the treatment, at the hands of the
Fountaiu City.

The following general orders were
issued by Gen. C. A. Evans yesterday
and other Georgia papers arc requested
to copy :

The anntal convention of the Geor
gia Division IT C. V. will be held in
Augusta, Ga., November 14, 15,16, A.
D., 1900, in accordance with the unan
imous acceptance at Savannah of the
cordial invitation ex'ended to the
division. The reunion executive com
mittee, chosen by the citizens of Au
gusta, of which Hon. Boykin Wright
Is chairman, and Capt. B, 11. Smith,
Jr., is secretsry, represent our oom
rades and the people unanimously of
that historic, progressive and patriot
ic Georgia city in making arrange
ments for our reunion in a spirit of
unsurpassed liberalty.
Every Confederate soldier and sailor
In Georgia is expeoted to attend this
reunion. Meetings of regiments,
companies- and batteries will be held.
