SHOULD BE BKPBEBKHTED. The Tiicas-C all yesterday published a premium list in the agrienltural de partment of the Georgia etate fair, and we tee no reason why Glynn cannot make a good exhibit and bring away tome of these prizes. We have two months now to get up a good showing and we urge the people to take tome interest in the matter, Let some patriotically inclined citi zen take the lead. DOOM SCHEDULES, Brunswick eitiaens are registering a hard aiok on the schedules of the two roads and the Times-Call caanot blame them. It is true that Ike Plant System does oom* nearer filling its advertised arriv ing time than the Southern, but aeither have cause to be proud, It is an un usual thing for the Southern evening train to reach Brnnawtok on time and as this train brings the mail the business men are compelled to wait ten hour* because it come* 100 late tor distribu tion. We sincerely hops that the rail read officials will do s little better. LOOTING PEKIN. We are glad to see nhat the Americans are taking no part in looting of Pekin. For tke armlet of a ciylUzad world this is a very ,'poor example to set a heatken nation and one which call* for the sons damnation off all good psople every where. Tke allied army was sent there to saye their beseiged countrymen not to steal. . BANK OF AMERICAN OITIES. Commercial relations between the Uqited States and Spain have been full ly restored. Tbe figures of the treas ury bureau of statistics for the fiscal year 1900 show that the exports from tbe United States from Spain in the fiscal year 1900 were larger thaa in aey other year since 1993, and within a few huadred thousand dollars of the highest record ever made in the oommcrce be tween the two nations. The people thought strange that Mr. Hay should leave Washington at the 4ime when his presence was most needed •v. and tfte real cause of his departure is now made'fcaown. There is no^denying the fact that Mr. Hay is the braiatepioiaii in the McKin ley cabinet, and it is jeW" that he bas handled the Chinese nioaiimiu a mastarly manner, \ It will be remembered that the secretary of state stood alone In his statement 4.%t the ministers at Pekin were alive, land, Japan, Prance and other nations laughed at Mr. Hay’s position, but we now see that he was correct. Whether or not the president sad the secretary ef atate are at outa only future developments will show, but if this rdf mor is true McKinley has lost the back bone of bi* cabinet. --•> r ">T —*4 Deafness Oannot Be Out* by local applications, as they cannot reach the diseased'portion of the ear.
