At tbcir meeting yesterday the board of county commissioners advanced the laxjrate from $1.25 to $1.35. When the present board went into office the rate was $1.35, but it was rodeoed to $1.25. And now on account of some unusual expense in connection with public imr provements the fate is increased Bgain. The difference is so small that the av erage taxpayer will hardly notice It, It is well to state here that the main cause of the Increase is the expense caused by the commissioners providing for the sinking fund for the redemption of bonds and to pay off floating indebts ednesa.
