"V" -j ml w Examination by a male physician is a hard trial to a delicately organized woman. She dreads the hnmiliation of it all. She therefore puts it off as long as she dare, and is only driven to it by fear of cancer, polypus, or some dreadful aicktiess. Most frequently such a woman leaves a physician's office, where she has un dergone a critical examination, more or less discouraged. This condition of mind destroys the-'effect of ad vice, and she grows worse rather than better. In consulting Mrs. Pinkham, in person or by letter,-no hesitation need be felt. The story is told to a woman, and is entirely confidential—to a woman who has listened to thousands of similar stories —and whohjqso competent to advise women because of vast experience, and because she is a Woman. Hot advice is absolutely free to all sick women, and her address u> Lynn, Muss. Read Miss Farrell’s account of how she was sick, and was lead to health by Mrs. Pinkham. I looked like a person brought out of the grave. My face was as white as the driven snow. I was always tired after doing a little work, and would have to sit down. I hail terrible pains and headache* and my appetite was not good; also, troubled with shortness of breath. MINNIE LITTLE. 07b WineTOßW* Modesty is the crowning virtue of American women, tt is the trait that ail mankind admires. A modest woman is the most pleasing of aB created things. Because of this becoming virtue thousands of women prefer to suffer untold miseries rather than confide their troublesto a physician, and to even think of submitting to an examination is revolt ing. They can’t get their own consent to an operation. Wine of Cardui permits sensitive women to retain their modesty. W ith it they can cure “ female troubles” in the quiet of their own rooms.
