ANOTHER CANNING FACTORY IS COMING TO BRUNSWICK Ohms Now in Ills Oily Mil Arraijpts fitiilirfti® Operators Will Ask Council Tonight to Exempt Them From Taxes for Terri*. ; of Years. ''£?* Mem*. H. F. Nfcholl aiTd^Wc William*, owners.of a large canning plant at Ctieater, Florida, bare abSut decided to remote their factory to thia city, and bate gone ao far as to make a deal for the land on which to erect same. The faotory will be located on the Hoarlett tract, just this side of the Aiken Canning Company’s plant, and it will be one of the bestof the kind in Georgia. Messrs. Ktoholland Williams make but one request, and that is that their faotory be exempted from taxation for a number of years. They assert that they will employ not less than two hundred hands, and they think the city could aiTord to lose a few dollars in revenue rather than let an industry of this kind go by. At a meeting of the city fathers tonight a petition from these gentlemen will be sent in, and if favorably acted upon, the work of removing the factory will begin at onoe, and will be up, ready for run ning within thirty days. The citizen* generally hope that council will act favorably on this pe tition as it means a great deal for all and will add another industry te the list.
