MAY EXEMPT
CHURCHES
Elr! Will Be Hale in
Legislature to Re
lieve tie Property.
The Atlanta News says:
Arothtr effort will bo made to ex
empt church property, parsonages and
school property from taxation.
For several years such a bill has
been pending in the general assembly
and at one time It passed, bat on ac
count ol it being an amendment to the
constitution of the state it was not
ratified by the people.
Senator Bell will Introduce the bill
again tomorrow. He says that the
provisions of the measure have never
been folly explained and for that rea
son when it passed the legislature the
people were not acquainted -ufllciently
with it to vote for it.
In his opinion the property of the
churches, that Is those buildings used
for public worship, and the property ot
schools used for educational purposes,
should be exempted from taxation.
Senator Bell does not believe In ex
empting property indiscriminately,
bat he does believe that churches and
schools should bo relieved of the bur
den.

To Mothers of Largo Families.
In this workaday world few women
are so placed that physical exertion
is not constantly demanded of them
in their daily life.
Mrs. Pinkham makes a special appeal
to mothers of large families whose
work is never done, and many of
whom suffer, and suffer for lack of
intelligent aid.
To women, young or old, rich or
poor, Mrs. Pinkham, of Lynn, Mass.,
extends her invitation of free adviee.
Oh, women 1 do not let your iives be
sacrificed when a word from Mrs.
Pinkham, at the first approach of
Mas. Cakujb Brllitiux
weakness, may fill your future years
with healthy joy.
" When 1 began to take Lydia E.
Plnkham’s Vegetable Compound I was
not able to do my housework. I suf
fered terribly at time of menstruation.
Several doctors told me they could do
nothing for me. Thanks to Mrs. Pink
ham’s advios and medicine I am now
well, and can do the work for eight la
the family.
" I would recommend Lydia B.
Pinkham's Vegetable Compound to all
mothers with large families.”—Mbs.

Every woman loves to think of the
time when a soft little body, all her
own, will nestle In her bosom, fully
satisfying tho yearning which lies In
the heart of every good woman. But
yet there is a black cloud hovering
about the pretty picture In her mind
which fills her with terror. The
dread of childbirth takes away much
of the Joy of motherhood. And yet ft
need not be so. For sometime there
has been upon the market, well-known
and recommended by physicians, a
liniment called
Mother’s friend
which makes childbirth as simple and
easy as nature Intended It It is a
strengthening, penetrating liniment,
which the skin readily absorbs. It
gives the muscles elasticity and vigor,
prevents sore breasts, morning sick
ness and the loss of the girlish figure.
