GILSOX DEAD. Wes at One Time Suparintendent of the Glynn Public Schools. News was received In the city yes terday of the death of Prof. R. Q, Gil son wh ch occurred In Glenns Falls, near Cleveland, Ohio, last Monday. The deceased was formerly a resi dent of this city, having held the posi tion of school superintendent for a num ber of years and he Wes well and fav orably known by most of onr older c'ti rent. The deceased leaves a wife and one daughter to mourn his loss. His daughter, Mrs. Cy Roberts resides here, , CANNOT GIVE RAIL. PARNELL RESIGNS. Tenders His Resignation as Second Lieutenant of the Riflemen. At their meeting last night Lieut. J.B. Parnell tendered his resignation as second lieutenant #f the Brunswick Riflemen. Mr. Parnell has been second lieu tenant of the company for about two years, and made a good and efficient officer.
