Mother's Friend equips the patient with a

turn are imparted to the child. It relaxes
the muscles and allows them to expand. It
relieves morning sickness and nervousness.
It puts all the organs concerned in perfect

labor is short and practically painless. Dan

avoided, and recovery is merely a matter of

Brunswick Helds Her Bwn
in Gcorsia Cities
According to the oensus figures pub
lished yesterdsy, Brunswick still holds
her rank as the seventh city in Georgia.
In 1890, tbe cities of the State ranked
as follows: Atlanta, Savannah, Au
gusta, Msoon, Columbus, Athens,
Brunswick, Rome. The rank has not
been changed by the new oensus.
Although Athens has increased her
her lead as tbe sixth city over Bruns
wick, we have increased our gain as
tbsiseventh oity over Rome.
In 1890, Athens bad only 180 more
people than Brunewiok, She now
leads ns by 1,144. In 1890, Brunewiok
led Rome by 1,602. She now leads her
by 1,790, a net gain of 118.
The Times-Call thinks this is, in
deed, a good showing for oureity, in
asmuch as we did not have as many
people in 1897 as we did in 1890, it
shows that all of our inoreaee has been
made in the past thrift years.
Columbus and Athens, the two cities
ahead of Bruoswiok, have been on a
steady increase, while this city has
experienced various back-sets in that
time.
All in a II, we think Brunswick has
. - -w- 40
done well, under tbe ciroumstanoes, to
hold her own ae the seventh oity; and
when the census of 1910 Is ’announced,
the "City by The Sea” bids fair to
rank as tbe fifth or sixth Georgia city.
