Baa nty sentenced Tricy Grlflln, the mur dcror of Oonductor Latimer, to hang and named January 11th as the day for the execution. When Grlflln was brought over frem the jail he brought his smile with him and It waß not until tbe sol emn words or the judge were were pro ! oounced, that his nerve deserted him. He got nervous and seemed dazed. When asked whother or not ha ds sired to say anything the prisoner did not sip wer but after the sentence was passed iVi wanted to talk but was not allovu||.
