one of the cleanest, brightest and

Meeting,

morning would hold a union meeting
at the Baptist ohureb that evening,and
the large building was packed to over
flowing, every seat was taken and
cnairs bad to be put in the aisles, tbe
attendenoe was so large.
Mr. Jones preached one of his ebar
aoteristio sermons.not omitting to make
allusion to local political sffairs, and
kept the congregation interested.

Mr. Mumford stated tbe purpose of
his visit to Brunswiok and explained

Death of Little Francis Penibad.
Frances the 7 year old daughter of
Mr, and Mrs. Vincent Penibad, died at
their home on South Amherst Street
yesterday morning at 6 o’clock.
The funeral will oocnr this afternoon
at 2*30 from MoKendree Methodist
ohurob.
