the Walter L, Mein show to go into
winter quarters in Brunswick.- The
idea was advanoed yesterday while the
agent of the show was in the oily and

Captain Newman and Chief Burney Have
Bean Doing Good Work.
The oondltion of Palmetto Cemetery,

under Chief Barney’s direction have
been at work there. The weeds wbloh

If owners of lots will now take steps
to sscond the work that has been done
by these gentlemen and pnt their lots
in a like condition, the cemetery will

tent rumor that Governor Candler,
whan he retiree, or before- he retires,
will announce far congress and will op
pose Hon. Carter Tate in the Ninth
dlstriot. Governor Candler sayi the re
