Hill, certified nurse assistant, 4 Oncology, Brunswick Campus, each with 40 years of service, and Brenda B. Gibbs, unit coordinator, Medical/ Surgical Unit, Camden Campus, with 35 years of service. “We are so pleased to gather each year to honor our team members for their years of dedicated service,” says Health System President & CEO Gary R. They are the Health System and we are particu larly happy to recognize so many team members with 20 or more years of loyal service such as Carolyn, Emma and Brenda.” Even after 40 years, Baker says there is no better place to work than the Health System. “The people here are great,” Baker says. “Southeast Georgia Health System has always Brenda B. Gibb, 35 years been there for me when I needed support. My job at the Health Sys tem has also allowed me to send two of my children to college.” Michelle Atkinson, R.N., manager, Outpatient Surgery and Baker’s supervisor says it’s people like Baker who make the Health System what it is today—a leader in health care service. “Carolyn is always available to assist in any way in the comfort level needed for patients,” Atkinson says. “She has a wonderful work ethic and will stay late when she is needed. Car olyn has outstanding nursing skills and she always provides quality care to our patients.” Hill’s supervisor, Christine Part- low, R.N. says the 40-year team mem ber is also a great asset to the Health System. “Emma is very professional in her work and demeanor and works very hard to make our patients feel comfortable, even when she has faced her own challenges,” says Partlow, manager, 4 Oncology. “She has a beautiful smile and does extra little things for our patients.” Making that extra effort comes naturally to Hill. “I like the way the Health System has always been behind team members Emma J. Hill, 40 years and it has made me want to give my all,” Hill says. ‘What a great place to work!” Gibbs agrees. “I came to the Health System’s Camden Campus to work on a temporary basis,” Gibbs says. “But I liked what I was doing so much that I stayed and here I am 35 years later! My job is very rewarding and my fel low team members are like family.” Gibbs’ supervisor, Marla Allen, R.N., manager, Medical/Surgical Unit, says her skills keep the entire unit on track. “I’ve known Brenda for 10 years and she always has a kind word for everyone and a smile on her face,” Allen says. “She keeps the entire emit Look Good...
