L BEAUTIFUL WEDDING, j Wednesday evening in the Meth dist church here, Mr. Jesse G Pow ell and M iss Veda McCollum utter ed tho sacred vows which made them man and wife. The pretty church had been con vened into a bower of lovliness with palms, vines and pot plants, by the willing hands of friends. Tho color scheme was white and green; and this effect was carried out in the minutest detail. Shortly after eight o’clock the sweet notes of Mendelsohn's \\ .ti ding March issued from behind an improvised screen where Col. A. L. Stapleton with a violin and his Oiftod wife at the piano rendered this old time favorite. At the first strains, the pastor, R-v. E. M. Overbie, marched through the central aisle to the al ter; next came the pillow bearers, Master Fred Cowart and Miss Myrtle Bush; following them, Mr. W. L.
