[Christian Life Is
I
Not Life of Fear
‘‘There is therefore, now no
condemnation to them whicn are
in Christ Jesus, who walk not fif
| ter the flesh but aft' r the spirit.
“For the law of the spirit of
life in Christ Jesus bath mace me
free from the laws of sin and
death.”- -Remans viii 1-2.
Please read the whole chapter.
Now let us consider for a time
bow pleasant how calm, must be
the I'fe of one who has this spi r ii
of God abiding within him .as a
divine Lader: yea the lifi of one
whose conscience bears witness
with him that lie is doing right in
all he does.
A child of G 'd hath no fear of
the nuii'shmeni of the wicked; for
God is his father and Jesus C' rist
who is to jndg' 4 sh e world is his
brother. He shall therefore in
herit life ev. Hasting and a home
in Heaven.
He that I ath the Spirit of God
iin him hath no Gar of death be-
voud the pain which all must suf
fer at the time when the soul
must depart from this earthly
body.
The great, dread of future pun
ishment has not caused him any
uneasiness. ■'
To him there is no need of prep
aration tor death. Living right in
the sight of God is bis everlasting
theme, and his consciousness of
having done this puts all fear out
of bis mind.
The matter of preparation for
death is a great stumbling block
in the way of religion. Many peo
ple preach and pray and weary
I over this great mistake. There is
!no need to prepare to die. You
: cannot get reaX tl'ough
'The thing to do is to get ready
ready to live right. Get the bless
ing of the Holy Spirit in you and
Hve a pure and holy life and God
will piepare and appoint the
•he time and way in which yon
shall die and that at bis own good
pleasure, and you will not be able
to better the arrangement.
Now, 1 sympathise with thos ■
who are Uying so hard to get
’•eady tor the Judgement Day.
Dear children and brethren don’t
let the Judgemmt Day trouble (
you. Jesus Christ will be the,
judge and no man I noweth of the)
day except the Father, no' even
the angels in Heaven knoweth
when it shall be.
Your life is all you can hive any
e.ontiol over, and the Spirit is all
that you need.
Pray G>d daily for the baptism
of the Holy Ghost and he will
send His Spirit, which is Hie Ho
ly Ghost and He will abide wita
thee and lead thee in all the ways
of righteousness.
Being Pd by this Spirit ye can
not err, yourlife will be a happy,
holy, perfect cossecrated life
such as God want’s you to live
and nothing can wrest you from
his hand or deprive you of a home
in Heaven.
