THE BATCELOR.
In “Till- BATCHBLOR” Mr Fitch in (aid to have don* the
best work of bis life. The Shubert* have given the piece en excellent
netting and r.re sending it to the coaat as one of their early “Op«B
door” attractions with the original Maxine Elliott Theatre oaat and
production. The piece has not been seen out of New York, wlmre it
was first pr duced last spring and in Chicago, where it ran during the
past summer.
The storv begins when the hatchelor, who thinks committing
matrimony is one of the eigot deadly sins, is beginning to take notice
of the wins ir.eni-M of his pretty blond stenographer. He has taken
her to the matinee several tunes and indulged her in an occasional
luncheon, but there his attentions have discieetly stored. The
