Died In Florida
At her home in Homestead, Fla.,
Mrs E. D. Taylor, who formerly
lived here, passed away last week.
Her body reached the cemetery in
Damascus Thursday, accompanied
by her husband and a son, Mr. R.
Taylor, of Homestead.
I’hey were joined at Arlington bv
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Taylor Jr. and
daughter, of Macon, Mr. and Mrs.
Wright Roberts and children, and
Airs Stevens also attended the fu
neral of their beloved mother.
Lieut Oscar Taylor is in a Govern
ment Hospital, and was not with
the bereaved ones.
Mrs. Taylor has been frail for
years. Everything possible was
done to stay the summons of the
grim Reaper; but loving admin
istrations, coupled with the treat
ment of physicians, availed not.
The deceased was a splendid
woman, and, a good woman is truly
one of God’s best creations.
