Drake, on Satur day afternoon of last week, went out to the well near the kitqben door of her home, to pump a bucket of water, and, on returning to th* bouse she passed over an old opei well, which had been covered will boards, and «r she passed, having no idea that the well was there, the boords brike and she fell about 20 feet, but as the water was about 3 feet deep it saved her of a ter ribly bard fall. When she tell, she called aloud, and her her, rushed the news loathe husband, and bis hands took ropes and quickly pulled her out. Drs. H. fudge, after an ill ness of two weeks and two days. For several days the patient seemed to be suffertn • from a ma larial attack; but complication® set up with a temperature waver ing about 104 degrees.
