Students Hold Retreat

The Southwide Southern Baptist Student Retreat will be held at
Ridgecrest, North Carolina, in June. The opening session will begin
at 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, and will close at noon Wednesday, June
13. Rooms will not be available for occupancy until opening Thursday.

Ridgecrest, a magic word and a
place of senic beauty, offers an un
forgettable experience to all who
attend. From morning watch until
campfire services at night, Ridge
crest will be the experience of a
lifetime. Bible study, workshops,
seminars, conferences, and a chal
lenging worship service fill the
morning hours. Afternoons of rec
reation on foot, on horseback, or in
cars, or in the lake, on the train,
or on the campus are enjoyed by
everyone. After supper, matchless
addresses, and inspiring campfire
services offer a challenging adven

Honorary Titles In June

These students have just joined
the hospital staff and many more

Judge Hooper, who was admitted
to the Georgia Bar in 1916, is a
native of Americus and attended
Georgia Tech and the Atlanta Law
School. Before becoming U. S. Dis

court. Judge Hooper, who is very
active in Baptist affairs, was mod

present chairman of the Executive

three to five, four days a week.
Doctors, nurses and interns act as
instructors for the lecture sessions.
Each new attendent is assigned
to an experienced attendent who
helps them by demonstrating some
of their daily duties.
The attendents are paired off and
each team alternates shifts, one
man working three days a week
the other four and vice-versa.
Openings are available for ap
proximately fifteen more attend
ents. Interested students should
direct all inquires to the Personnel
Office of the Macon Hospital.

to speak in the Southern Baptist
Training Union Contest.
