The Kappa Sig* opened up the
year with a party at the old Hula-
baloo dub It was a great party.

surprise, the phantom pledge was
seen three times last week!
The Kappa Sigs looked good in
the Tuesday ball game against Sig
ma Nu, thanks to the fine coaching
of Vince Hagan and Bear McCall.
And in the ever-present romance
department, Andy Pure heart is la
valiered to Lucia Miree, a Wealy
anne, Scott Hogan and Nancy Dill
are now lavaliered. Neil Novak
won the three date dash by lava
liering Susanne Cannella (Wes
leyan). If you look close, you may
notice that Carol Doyle, Chi O, is
pinned to Charlie Gavin.

The Brothers of Alpha Beta
journeyed to Georgia Southern
College last weekend to assist their
International Ritualist Brad Hol
brook, in initiating the newest Kap
pa Sig chapter. Initiation took
place Saturday morning and the
brothers were treated to a "ban
quet” that night.
The Sigs are looking forward to
a “free" party at Kraft Lake fea
turing “Little Phil." The plans are
to give the pledges their second
lesson in Party 101.

The E’s began their social year
in a big way with a post-Georgia
game party at Jonesco Saturday
night before last. The “Good
Things" supplied the music and
everyone had a great time. Sunday
afternoon everyone rallied and
played in the Pledge-Brother foot
ball game, an annual tradition of
Georgia Psi. As usual, the brothers
overpowered the "new boys”, by a
score of 25-6, the underdog TD be
ing a gift.

Saturday night. Oct. 19, the
Snakes held their second party of
the quarter at Kraft Lake with
“Luke's Cabbage Store”. And as
always everyone had a great time!
Then. Sunday night a banquet for
the girls who helped during Rush
rounded out the weekend for the
Sigma Nu's.

Sixty-one priceless paintings and drawings from Paris
museums will be lent by the French government to Atlanta’s
High Museum of Art in connection with the October 5th ded
ication of the new $13 million Atlanta Memorial Arts Center.
Among the works to be displayed will be “Le Pont des Arts”
by Paul Signac (1863-1935); “Portrait of Emilie Vernet” by
Michel Nicholas Bernard Lepicie (1735-1784); “The Baths of
Apollo at Versailles” by Hubert Robert (1733-1808); and
“Portrait of Monsieur Lavergne” (pencil) by Jean-Auguste-
Dominique Ingres (1780-1867).
