The young but talented squad had lost their first four games of the year, and the victory set the Bears on the right track for the Second Annual Mercer Invitational Tourney (which will have been played by the time you read this). However, when you look at the Bears opponents in two of those four ball games you can hardly be ashamed of their 1-4 record.
