featuring such things as the

the Mona Use. sword fights,
and a movie containing a belly
dancer, followed the In
troduction of the girls

decison on an interview with
each contestant, their per
sonalities. poise and beauty

Program Macon businessmen
are urged to support the
university and are informed as
to the financial impact the
school has on the Macon
community and the needs of the
campus
Dr Haywood commented that
Mercer has 1100 graduate* In
the Macon community 139 of
these are lawyers, seven
judge*. 47 ministers and 75
doctors In terms of financial
contribution to the community
Dr Haywood dtockwed that the
university has 413 employees
and that students spend 9700 per
year in town which amounts to
