SOLD EVERYWHERE Railroad Commissson of Georgia. i. N TRAMMELL, Chairman,) ALEX. H EKWI>. ; Commissioner! J W. ROBERTSON, ) A. O. BRISCOE, Secretary. Atlanta, Ga., March 14,1891. CIRCULAR No. 188. OS' TUB Paaseager Tariff Western and Atlantic Railroad. In the matter of the petition of the Western and Atlantic Railroad company that the passenger rates be placed at 3 •ents per mile, the Commission, after «areful consideration of the facts and fig ures presented, have concluded that, as the present special rates for passenger fares over the Western and Atlantic rail road were fixed at the request of the management of said road, a refusal to grant the petition under consideration would be making an unjust discrimina tion against the Western and Atlantic railroad, in favor of all other first-class roads in the state, and that, granting the petition, would be simply placing the local patrons of the Western and Atlantic rail road on an equal footing with those of all other first-class roads in the state. It is, therefore ordered that the Wes ' tern and Atlantic railroad be placed in •lass A (3 cents per mile) of the St ndard Passenger Tariff, subject to Rule No. 9, as amended by Circular No. 185, dated March 4,1891. All circulars in conflict beneath, are hereby repealed. / This circular to take effect on aud after *taarolr 14, 1891. By order of the Board. L. N. Trammell, Cha’m, A. C. Bbiscoe, Sec’y.
