Sometimes a Justice Court is largely a*-

parties are presen'; and in the case of
which we writ., only the partus concerned
were on hand.
The trial is one of the most notable on

prisoner was a colored man, charged with
a crime, tbe penalty for which was any

tiently the arrival of tbe legal gentleman,
whose eloquence would reach their ears,
