British Aggression in Honduras.—From 1 (wo or three sourcfs, apparently entitled to con fidence, we have received intelligence cT the sei* sure of Trumllo, trport of Honduras, by the Brit ish authorities injtlmt region, acting ostensibly on behalf ot the d.ngy king of the Mo-quitoes.— This news, coming as it does ‘upon the heels of an official communication from the British Gov ernment, proposing to abandon the Mcsquttian protectorate, has naturnlly occasioned much sur prise in Washington. We cannot believe, how ever, that it the outrage has been perpetrated, ‘t will receive the sanction ol the British Covern roem. Mr. Crauipton, the British Minister at Washington, is said to have requested the Presi dent not to take any action in tne premises, nnul i , he (Mr. Crumpton) can obtain iuinrmatinii trotn ; f home. Unless England lias been playing a dou f ble game with our government, lor which there seems to be no adequate inolive, ihe outrage— kelways supposing that an outrage lias been coin rmcTed—jyjil be ptofifutlv disavowed and atoned. 1 ojriit and learn tne facts, before we lash es into a r-ge!
