A native of Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Leon C. and Jenny B. Lester and was preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon West Burroughs. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Mae Bailey; and a niece, Debra Barber. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Reba Chambers; brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Hazel Chambers; sister, Patricia Scarboro; niec es, Teresa Hilbum, Tracy Dean and Michelle Rice; several great-nieces and nephews; and beloved great-nephew, Bucky Dean.
