A native of Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Leon C. and Jenny B. Lester and was preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon West Burroughs. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Mae Bailey; and a niece, Debra Barber.
