•Jones Chapel Church
will hold its second annual
Womanless Beauty Pageant and
Silent Auction April 15 at the
Jones Chapel Family Life Center,
beginning at 6 p.m. All proceeds
will go to this year's Madison
County Relay for Life, organiz
ers said. Donations are needed
for the silent auction. If you

Organizers say arrangements can
be made to pick up your donation
or you can drop it by the church
before April 3, along with a dol
lar value of the item to determine
a minimum bid. The name of
the donor will be displayed with
all items and donations are tax-
deductible, organizers said. Jones
Chapel is also looking for con
testants for the beauty pageant
and the only requirement is that
they be “womanless,” organizers

•Moon’s Grove Baptist
Church will have The Sammy
Glass Singers in concert Sunday,
March 29, at 11 a.m. This will
be a “love offering” concert and
all who enjoy gospel singing are
invited to attend, church lead

•Greater Hope Fellowship
Church will have an “old time
gospel tent singing” on April 4,
beginning at 1:30 p.m.

will be sold, beginning at 11:30
a.m. Admission is free, with

services of all officers of the
Northwestern Baptist Association

the Waggoner's Grove Baptist
Church will be installed as the

Comer will host a special singing
with The Bennett Family from
Nicholson Saturday, March 28,

•Trinity Baptist Church,
Danielsville, will have early bird
registration on March 29 for their
upcoming children's camp. The
camp will be open to children
who have completed kindergar
ten through sixth grade, organiz
ers said. During the week of
May 24-29, the church will have
the sleep-away camp at the North
East Georgia Christian Camp.
The early bird cost is $89, which
includes lodging, meals, trans
portation, T-shirt, and any other
activities. After March 29, regis
tration will be $99. A discount is
available for families who regis

•The Ladies Prayer Group
meets at the Ila Restaurant at
8 a.m. every fourth Sunday. All

Ministry will host a “Fabulous
Afternoon with Girlfriends” on

and Brenda Lewis-Williams,

“Our goal is not only to minis
ter to women in the local church,
but to reach out to women in the
community who are less fortu
nate by helping with their physi
cal needs,” organizers said. Every
attendee is asked to bring a non-
perishable item to be included in
bags that will be given to women
who are receiving Temporary
Assistance for Needy Families
(TANF) through DFACS.
