The bride-elect is the grand daughter of J.C. and Brenda Watson, Colbert, and Thomas and Helen Adams, Hull. Miss Adams is a 2009 Madison County High School graduate and will attend Gainesville State College in the fall. She is employed with Party City, Athens. The future groom is the grand son of Diane Beavers, Hull, and Shirley Eberhart, Athens. He is a 2007 graduate of Madison County High School MR. EBERHART, MISS ADAMS and is in the United States Army The wedding is planned for at the Hardeman-Sams House, Reserve, 7 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2009, Athens. Fund set up to assist burn victim Scott Payne was seriously injured in a fire in Colbert on June 21. According to family mem bers, he has no insurance and his medical expenses will be great. Payne remains hospi talized at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries. A Scott Payne benefit account has been set up for donations at all Merchants and Farmers Bank branches in Madison County to assist him with these expenses. Library announces July events The Madison County Library has announced its news and events for July. •The library will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. •The fall book sale is set for Sept. 18-26. There will be programs, events and prizes for readers all summer long. •Introduction to acting and tableaus: Wednesday, June 24, and July 1, 2 p.m. •J.J.
