Classes are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and will begin Sept. 8. The preschool offers classes for 3 and 4 year olds under the instruction of two certified teachers, officials said. This program provides students with the skills needed for kindergarten in a nurturing Christian environ ment. John McKnight serving as guest speaker. •Colbert Grove Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday, Aug. 22, beginning at 11 a.m. Rev. Roy F. Thomas and Waggoner’s Grove Baptist Church will conduct the 3 p.m. service. Dinner will be served between ser vices, church leaders said. Theotis Johnson will bring the mes sage for both occasions, church leaders said. •Gordon’s Chapel United Methodist Church will hold its revival ser vice each Sunday evening at 7 p.m. throughout the month of August. Also, the church is moving forward with plans to construct a new 9,500 square foot facility to be used for education, minis try, fellowship and youth activities. “Anyone who would like to support our efforts, please consider making a donation," lead ers state. “Donations made in honor or memory of a loved one will receive an engraved nameplate on the building fund plaque to reside in the new space.” Donation levels for inclu sion of a plaque are as follows: Bronze $100, Silver $500, Gold $1,000 and Platinum $5,000.
