•Trinity Baptist Church,
Danielsville, will kick-off its
AWANA program Wednesday,
Aug. 26. The AWANA program
includes Bible memory, Bible
learning, and game time for ages
3 through sixth grade. It begins
each Wednesday night at 6:45
p.m. Trinity also offers a family
night supper for a small cost from
5:45-6:30 p.m. and GC2 Student
Ministries for 7th through 12th
graders from 7:00-8:15 p.m. on
Wednesdays. Call the church

•Full Gospel Church of
Comer will have a special sing
ing Saturday, Aug. 22, beginning
at 7:30 p.m. The church is located

•The Ladies Prayer Group
meets at the Ila Restaurant at
8 a.m. every fourth Sunday. All
ladies are invited to attend. Good
food, fellowship and devotion,

meeting is Sunday, Aug. 23.
•Jones Chapel UMC
Preschool will host an open
house on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 10
a.m. at the Family Life Center.
“Preschool students and their
families are invited to join us
for a time of fellowship, a tour
of the facilities, and an oppor
tunity to learn more about our
program,” officials said. “There
are a limited number of spac
es still available for this school
year.” Anyone interested in find
ing out more about the program
is invited to join them for this
special event, organizers added.
Preschool classes will begin on
Sept. 8 and meet on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Thursdays
from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The
preschool offers classes for 3 and
4 year olds under the instruc
tion of two certified teachers.

with the skills needed for kinder
garten in a nurturing Christian

leaders said. Revival services will
be held Monday, Aug. 3, through
Friday, Aug. 7, at 7:30 p.m. each

and Booker Chapel, will be the
guest minister for the week. The

•Gordon’s Chapel United

their revival service each Sunday
evening at 7 p.m. throughout the

•Waggoner’s Grove Baptist
Church will have fifth Sunday
services at 8 a.m. on Sunday,

sale of baked goods, canned
foods and crafts on Sunday eve
ning, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m.
The activity is sponsored by
the United Methodist Women of
the church and proceeds will go
toward furthering mission work
locally, nationally and world
wide, organizers said.
