There will be various choirs from the surrounding area participating and “everyone is invited to join us on this special occasion,” leaders said. •Madison County Pastors and Layman will sponsor a Community Fun Day at the Madison County Recreation Park, Hwy. 98, Danielsville, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This a family fun day, organizers said, and their will be games, food, a health screening, singing and other activities. “The public is invited,” organizers said. •New Beginning Family Worship Center will have a women’s Bible study each Tuesday, from 6:45-8 p.m. entitled, “The Inheritance of Beth Moore." The hobo supper plates are $6 each and include fatback, combread, filed potatoes, onion slices and choices of black-eyed peas or pinto beans and cabbage or slaw. The supper will be available from 5-7 p.m. - take out or dine in. The concert, featuring the group Fourgiven, and others, will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free for the festival and concert. Donations will be accepted for the church’s youth group. Please take note that this year’s registration is different. Registration will be on Nov. 14 only at the community center — there will be no phone registration, church leaders empha sized.
