There will be raffle tickets available for cakes, pies, meals and merchandise. Hamburgers, hot dogs, bar becue, chips, nachos and soft drinks will also be avail able, organizers said. •Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Royston will host a ben efit singing Saturday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m. The featured groups will be Lazarus Un wound and The Goodwins. The singing is for pastor, Rev. David Gibson, who re cently underwent surgery to remove cancer of his vocal chord, church leaders said and all proceeds are to help cover his medical costs. There will also be hot dog plates sold. •Erastus Christian Church will have a chicken mull Saturday, Nov. 21, from 5-7 p.m. Take out plates are $6 each and dine-in plates are $6 (ages 11 and up) and $3 (ages 6-10). Ages five and under are free. Registration will be on Nov. 14 only at the community center — there will be no phone registra tion, church leaders em phasized. Those in need must register for assistance with toys on this day. Collection dates for the relay center are Nov. 16,17,18 and 19, 6-9 p.m.; Nov. 20 and 21, noon-7 p.m. and Nov. 22, 1-4 p.m. The community center is locat ed 4.5 miles south of Com merce on Hwy. 334 (take Hwy. 334 to mile marker 8). Any individual or group can participate by filling a shoe- box with a few toys and ba sic necessities and deliver ing it to the Relay Center.
