A Hull resident reported
that his Oak Bend Drive
home was “severely ran
sacked” last week and
robbed of more than
$13,000 worth of items,
including cash, clothing,
firearms, jewelry and elec
tronics.
According to the inci
dent report, the homeowner
returned home from work
to find his front door had
been kicked in.
A witness reportedly
told deputies that he saw
a suspicious vehicle in the
area earlier in the day. This
vehicle was described as
a white, long wheel base
truck, possibly a Chevrolet,
with a ball hitch on the
end of it. The vehicle also
had what appeared to be a
plastic type bag on the tag
in an apparent attempt to
cover it up. The driver was
described as a white male
in his mid to upper thirties.
In another incident, a
deputy was dispatched to
the CVS in Hull last week
after two women reported
they had been threatened by
someone.
According to the incident
report, the male offender
had left the scene when the
deputy arrived, but one of
the victims reported that
she, her two children and
her sister had come to the
CVS to meet her sister’s
boyfriend, when the sister’s
ex-boyfriend showed up.
According to the report, the
ex-boyfriend began to cuss
and threaten the women,
running after their car. He
also stated that he would
kick his ex-girlfriends
@#% and kill her. When
the woman asked him to
stop because she had her
two children with her, the
man reportedly came to the
driver’s side and pulled a
knife out of his pocket, also
threatening to kill her and
her kids.
The women then drove
away and called 911. They
also reported that he has
assaulted the ex-girlfriend
in the past and threatened
“to kill her whole fam
ily.” Both victims were
explained the Temporary
Protection Order and war
rant processes.
In another incident,
an elderly lady on Harry
Paul Road reported that
two white males came to
her door last week, stat
ing that they were survey
ing the property next door
to her. They then report
edly asked her if she could
walk down to the creek and
show them where the prop
erty starts, when she stated
she couldn’t, they report
edly told her they owed her
$50 due to an “incorrect
survey” and asked her if
she had change for a $100
bill. She told the men they
didn’t “owe her a thing”
and that she was going to
call her daughter. She went
to the phone and when she
returned to the door, the
men had vanished. The
woman stated she wanted
to file a report so no one
else would be taken in by
the suspected scam.
