NOVEMBER 19. 2009 School News Danielsville third grade winners Third, fourth, and fifth grade students recently participated in the punt, pass, and kick competition during PE class at Danielsville Elementary School. Students were allowed one pass, one punt and one kick for the competition. Scores were based on dis tance and accuracy. Third winners were as follows: (boys) James Brinson, first; Zachery Angel, second; Austin Kerns, third; (girls) Kylie Whitworth, first; Kalie Schuyler, second; and Brittany Bales, third. Helping with preschool screenings Madison County 4-H'ers recently helped with the Special Parents Connection by assist ing with pre-school screenings. Pictured (L-R) are Dylan Brooks, Catherine Gilliam and Russell Adams. Helping with the Special Olympics Pilot Club Members of Madison County, along with their affiliate, the Madison County High School Anchor Club, assisted with the recent Madison County Special Olympics by taking part in the opening ceremony, helping conduct the various events and providing refreshments for the participants.
