Dotson and family on Sunday, Dec. 6. Pastor William Johnson and the Thankful Baptist Church family will be special guests for the 11:30 a.m. worship service. The anniversa ry hour will begin at 3 p.m. Pastor H.T. Butler and Oak Grove Baptist Church will be the spe cial guests for the evening worship service. Dinner will be served following the morning worship ser vice, church leaders said. •Canaan Baptist Church will have a sing ing Sunday, Dec. 6, at 10:30 a.m. featuring The Hyssongs. The church is located at 980 Homestead Road. •Freedom Church of God will have revival Dec. 3-5 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 10:45 a.m. Church leaders say this will be four services of “spirit-filled preaching and worship.” Evangelist J.D. Sosebee, an accom plished pastor and church planter, will be the speak er. Sosebee has been serv ing on the staff at Free Chapel in Gainesville and has also served as a pas tor in the Nicholson area. leaders noted.
