and the Secretary of State’s
website, www.sos.ga.us.
You may also access infor

In order to receive an
absentee ballot by mail, an
application must be com
pleted and submitted to the
registrar’s office for verifi
cation. No ballots will be
mailed out after Friday. Nov.
2, 2012.
The voter registration dead
line for the Nov. 6 general/
special election will be Oct. 9.

p.m. Applications are also
available at the Madison
County Library, and can be
downloaded from the Georgia

Public meetings held in
Madison County include:

setting meeting is held on the
final Monday of the month at
6:30 p.m. in the government
complex on Albany Avenue in
Danielsville. A business meet
ing is then held on the first
Monday of the month at 6:30
p.m. at the same locale.
•Madison County Planning
and Zoning Commission —
the first and third Tuesdays of
the month at 6:30 p.m. in the
government complex.
•Madison County Board
of Education — the second
Tuesday of the month at 7
p.m. in the library at the Board
of Education Professional

the second Thursday of every
