a veteran
and served
his country in The United
States Army and the GA
National Guard. Willie was
a long-time driver for Par
malat Atlanta Dairies. He
was preceded in death by
his father, Jonah Etheridge;
and a brother, Roger Ether
idge.
Survivors in addition to
his mother include his wife,
Ann Rockmore Etheridge;
two sons, Bill and Chris
Etheridge; Winder; his

where he was the past Dis
trict Governor of the 18th
District. Mr. Hardigree was
preceded in death by his
parents, James E. and Mary
Elder Hardigree; his first
wife, Doris Fincher Hardi
gree; a son, Donald Wayne
Hardigree; and his second
wife, Doris Manders Har
digree.
Survivors include a son,
Daniel Hardigree (Lynn),
Winder; daughter-in-law,
Peggy Hardigree Kell,
Tryon, N.C.; brother, James
G. Hardigree, Winder; two
grandchildren, Christian
Elizabeth Hardigree and

“Jim” LaGrasse, 92, passed
away Thursday, June 30,
2016.
He was of the Catholic
denomination and a mem
ber of St. Matthews Catho
lic Church. Jim served his
country in the United States
Navy during World War II
and Korea
as a hospi
tal corps- ^
man. He was
a lifetime member of the
VFW and a patron of the
World War II Museum in
New Orleans. Jim retired
from AT&T. He was pre
ceded in death by his par
ents, Dominick and Antoi
nette Titone LaGrasse; his
first wife, Dorothy Mary
LaGrasse; son, David
LaGrasse; and five siblings,
Gus, Mike, Marian, Kay
and Fran.
Survivors include his
wife, Nancy B. LaGrasse,

LaGrasse (Joan), Nashville,
Tenn. and Gerald Faulkner

Hazel Middleton
Hazel L. Middleton, 79,
died Sunday, June 26, 2016.
A native of Smith County,
Miss., she was the daughter
of the late Gee and Mat-
tie Gray and the widow of
Charles Allen Middleton.
She was preceded in death
by three sisters, Mary Gray,
Mae Jewel Gray Kelly, and
Elaine Gray Anderson; and
four brothers, Clyde Gray,
Earl Gray, Haskell Gray,
and Odell Gray.
Hazel was a wonderful
mother, wife, grandmother,
and great grandmother. She
loved her family very much.
Hazel’s greatest joy came
from sharing her Bible
Based Hope that soon this
earth will be a paradise just
as God meant it to be when
he placed Adam and Eve
in the Garden of Eden. She
loved Jehovah God with her
whole heart and mind and
demonstrated that love by
spending many hours every
month sharing her hope
with others. She was a good
and faithful servant of Jeho
vah!
Survivors include five
children, Alan (Carmen)
Middleton, Morton, Miss.,
Dennis (Barbara) Middle-
ton, Comer, Tim (Rachel)
Middleton, Brandon, Miss.,

Mr. Wall

Hattie Jones Wall. He was

wife of 67 years in 2007,
Mae Youngblood Wall; sis
ters, Annie Mae Epps, Pearl
Booth and Darlene Mann;
and brothers, Tommy Wall
and J W. Wall. A Barrow
County resident for most
of his life, Mr. Wall was a
farmer and drove a school
bus for many years. Mr.
Wall was a member of Cal
vary Baptist Church, where
he was ordained as a deacon
in 1949.
Surviving are a son and
daughter-in-law, Clarence
N. and Jean Wall, Statham;
granddaughters, Dana
Lowe and husband Andy,
and Leigh Strickland and
husband Tim; four great
grandchildren; and sister,
Modean McElhannon.
