ROTARY CONSTRUCTS RAMP FOR HORNE
The Rotary Club of Madison County completed its 665th ramp May 25 for Donald Home, who lives on Hwy. 106 South. Home, 60, is in the hospital because of liver and
lung cancer. His daughter, Amy Carter, contacted the Rotary Club and requested help with getting a ramp constmcted for him to use when he returns home. Home
has worked most of his life with the A2Z Industrial Supply company, and he attends the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Workers on the ramp included Johnny Fitzpatrick,
Jerry Bond, Artry Bishop, Pat Qinn, Roy Seagreaves, Roy Gandy and Johnny Minish.

Fortson reunion set for June 4
The Fortson family reunion will be Sunday, June
4, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Shiloh Volunteer Fire
Department. 2149 Jones Chapel Shiloh Road, Danielsville.

59 th Dillard reunion set for June 11
The 59th Dillard Reunion will be held June 11 (sec
ond Sunday in June) at the Sanford Community Center,
6495 Nowhere Road, Hull, at approximately 12:30 p.m.
All descendants of James Isaac Newton Dillard are
invited to attend. James Isaac Newton Dillard’s children
were: James I.N. Dillard, John William Dillard, Sallie O.
Dillard, Ida M. Dillard, Lillian Dillard. Jessie M. Dillard,
Bertha L. Dillard. Locke C. Dillard, Selena Dillard, and
Charlie Dillard. “Please bring your favorite covered dish
es and join in the fellowship together with your extended
family and loved ones.” organizers said. “Hope to see
everyone there.”
Guest reunion set for June 11
The Guest reunion will be held Sunday, June 11, at 1
p.m. at the Paoli Schoolhouse in the Paoli Community
of Madison County. The schoolhouse is located beside
the New Hope Presbyterian Church. The reunion is for
descendants of Van and Beulah Graham Guest.
“It is difficult to pin down the actual date this started,
but our best guess is at least 85 years ago,” organizers
said. “All family and friends are invited to come and
join in on the fun and fellowship.” Attendees are asked
to bring their favorite dishes and drinks. Paper products
and ice will be provided. For more information, contact

2017 COLBERT CANNA PAGEANT CONTESTANTS
The 2017 Colbert Canna Pageant will be held Saturday, June 3, at 6 p.m. in the
Colbert Auditorium. Contestants will compete in three age groups for the oppor
tunity to represent Colbert for the next year. Admission is $5 and children under
