Michele Marie Hancock
MAYSVILLE — Michele Marie Hancock, 56,
Maysville, died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at
Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Hancock was born in Omaha, Nebraska,
to Carol Reitfors Pryor, Maysville, and the late
Thomas Pryor. Mrs. Hancock was a salesperson
for an auto parts store and was a member of Faith
Baptist Church of Stockbridge.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Hancock is also
survived by her daughters, Tracy Lively, Mays
ville, Lydia Medlin, Commerce, and Pamela
Roell, Jefferson; five grandchildren; brothers,
Michael Pryor, Maysville, and Patrick Pryor,
Hoschton; and sister, Teresa Stetler, Maysville.
Memorial service: Friday, December 6, 2019 at
3 p.m. from Maysville Baptist Church with the
Rev. Frank Prince officiating.
Family to receive friends: Friday, December 6,
2019 from 2:30-3 p.m. at the church.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in

Lillie Arrington Huddleston
LAGRANGE — Lillie Arrington Huddleston,
91, LaGrange, passed away on November 24,
2019 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.
Mrs. Huddleston was born on September 29,
1928 in Meigs, to the late Marvin and Lillie Hall
Fulghum. She retired after many years as the
church secretary for the First Baptist Church of
Pelham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Zenas Huddleston; her
first husband, Robert Arrington Sr.; son in law,
Tony West; and brother, Wes Fulghum.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Arrington
Jr. (Joyce), and Marvin Arrington (Melisa);
daughters, Vickie Moore (Wade), Annie Mathi
as (Bill), Marlene West, Renee Poppell (Joe),
Janice Heard (Mike) and Carolyn Reaves (Da
vid); sister, Rubye King; 17 grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and extended family and
friends.
Memorial service: Saturday, December 7,
2019 at 2 p.m. at the Enon Baptist Church in
Alto, with Pastor Clint Peterson officiating.
Family will receive friends: Saturday, Decem
ber 7, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Family
interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
the WellStar West Georgia Hospice, Enon Bap
tist Church in Alto, or the Lillie Renee Founda
tion.

Syble Towler Maynard
Syble Towler Maynard entered eternity on No
vember 30, 2019.
She was born in the
Harbin’s Community
of Gwinnett County
on July 10, 1937. Mrs.
Maynard was preceded
in death by her parents,
John and Collie Brock
Towler; and sisters,
Doris Gilbert, Frances
Phillips, Johnnie Tow
ler and Helen Greeson.
A resident of Barrow
County for the past 65 years, she was a member
of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a gradu
ate of Dacula High School. Mrs. Maynard had
served as secretary at Maynard T.V. Sales and
Service.
Surviving are husband, William Maynard,
Winder; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and
Pam Maynard, Auburn, Terry and Connie May
nard, and Todd and Dana Maynard, all of Wind
er; sister, Margaret Miller, Gratis; six grandchil
dren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Family to receive friends: Sunday, December
1, 2019 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service: Monday, December 2, 2019 at
2 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home
with the Rev. Sam Davis officiating. Interment
will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wetherford was born on August 19, 1935
in Gainesville, to the late Paul and Bell Wether
ford. He served in the United States Army. He

and a former maintenance worker for Gaines
ville Mills.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years,
Vera Dean Wetherford; daughters and sons-in-
law, Becky and Andy Gentry, Pendergrass, and
Lisa and Tony McNeal, Braselton; brothers,
Junior Wetherford, Gainesville, Henry Weth
erford, Gainesville, Adolphus Wetherford,
Braselton, and Johnny Wetherford, Maysville;
sisters, Grace Robinson, Gainesville, and
Vera Wood, Hoschton; grandchildren, Kay

Donald Edward Worley
WINDER — Donald Edward Worley, 85,
Winder, passed away on Monday, November 25,
2019 at his residence.
Mr. Worley was an
avid outdoorsman. He
enjoyed hunting and
fishing. Mr. Worley was
also a dedicated sports
enthusiast; loving all
sports, especially foot
ball, baseball and golf.
Mr. Worley is pre
ceded in death by his
parents, Ernest Palm
er Worley and Iduma
Deaton Worley; and brother, Randall Worley.
Mr. Worley is survived by his devoted wife,
Joy Austin Worley, Winder; son, Don (Vickie)
Worley, Winder; daughter, Cindy (Hokey) Roys
ter, Winder; sister, Gail Worley (Richard) Royal,
Winder; three grandchildren, Christopher Edward
Royster, Robert Chase Royster and Lauren Ni
cole Worley Power; and four great-grandchildren,
Rylee Ann Royster, Carson Christopher Royster,
Silas Chase Royster and Teagan Rae Power.
Funeral service: Wednesday, November 27,
2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral
Home. Pastor Ben Parker will officiate. Burial
will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gar
dens, Winder.
