REAL OR NOT REAL? -
The very first sin recorded in
Scripture was a lie. It came from
Satan, the father of lies, and it
was about God. The lie prom
ised Eve that she would “be like
God” if she ate the forbidden
fruit.
One tragic consequence re
sulting from the proliferation
of social media is the dramatic
increase in the spreading of lies.
It seems that people no longer
see the need to “spin” the truth
when an outright lie will do.
At ACS, we are training our
young people to discern truth.
This may be one of the more
important tools they will car
ry with them throughout their
lives. Real or not real? It can be
a question with eternal conse
quences.
